Write a letter to the editor
The Environmental Protection Act recommendations provide an incredible opportunity to modernize Canada’s environmental laws, but these changes aren’t guaranteed! A letter to the editor is a simple and effective way to raise important issues in the media. The editorial pages are among the most-read sections of a newspaper, so a published letter can make a real impact. Write a letter to the editor now.
Write a letter to your MP
You can help ensure government sticks by their commitments to fix the Canadian Environmental Protection Act by sending a message to members of Parliament, encouraging them to support the recommended changes. Click here to send a letter to your MP letting them know about the proposed amendments and copying in the key decision-makers.
Sign on organizations near you
We need Canadian organizations and businesses to support the Blue Dot campaign to recognize our right to live in a healthy environment in federal law. Our goal is to have 100 organizations support our campaign by the end of February 2018. Reach out to out organizations/businesses and ask them to sign this digital letter.
People like you stand up
The right to a healthy environment starts at the local level, with people like you taking action to protect the people and places you love.
Thank you for taking a leadership role to create positive change!
