It’s remarkable what can be achieved when neighbours come together to build a better environment for their community.

Linda Nash is one such resident in Langley, B.C., who has been fighting to prevent a truck bypass from being built through her community, near schools, increasing their exposure to air pollution such as nitrous oxide.

A growing number of MPs are coming on-board with the idea of environmental rights.

With the right to a healthy environment recognized at all levels of government we can ensure that for any such project, citizens are informed and able to bring their concerns to the table.

It’s a future worth fighting for.
